We're almost there! With all the hard work over the past few months to get the Chill Off 2 test environment set up and operational it is very exciting to be so close to getting the testing kicked off. All of the suppliers involved (will be listing them here) have done a tremendous job of volunteering their time and resources to get this test set up. We met this morning and the site is operational. A few tasks remain to get the first test kicked off on Thursday:
- Today: Terry from Synapsense installing two additional power meters
- Today: Prajesh from OSIsoft is wrapping up the commissioning of the data aggregation/reporting system
- Today: Prajesh/Stewart will be sending access instructions for KC to verify the test data that comes back
- Today: Mike resolving a water temp fluctuation issue
- Tomorrow (5/27): Running second full system test with servers at idle
- Thursday (5/28): Knuerr rep, Mike, Prajesh, Alex, and KC on site to begin official testing at first set point
- Friday (5/29): continue with testing at each set point for 9 business days
I will keep folks posted on progress this week as the testing gets underway. Once this first test (Knuerr Cool Therm) gets close to wrapping up I can adjust the remainder of the schedule accordingly and will publish the details here as well.
